Shadow's Peak is a beautiful game with loads of style and heart, and a back story that's compelling as it is vague. That said, I'm very much looking forward to playing the Final Chapter. Godspeed!. This game is fantastic. It just gets more rediculous till the end. It's really quite good and very funny, you will enjoy :). Looks great but really cheesy and short gameplay!. So I have finished the game. I gotta say I did not expect the game to be short since this is titled as an Open World Horror game. I thought the game would have a lot of stuff to do beside following the main quest. I got a bit dissapointed. It IS kind of an Open World game but, to be honest, the world isn't very big. I was roaming around the whole map and exploring, and I was also able to finish the game within a short period of time.The ghosts in this game are a bit creepy but you will get used to those once you explore a bit and encounter them frequently. The world does feel atmospheric. But overall, the ghosts/monsters are dissapointing. They did scare me a bit when I first encountered them but after exploring for a while I just got used to it and they did not look scary anymore. In fact, the 'monsters' in the Final Chapter looked funny. What will get you is the sounds that play when monsters see you.The story is okay. But it's just short. I was enjoying the game and it felt like the story ended so quickly. I am sure that if I did not explore and just followed the main quest, I might have finished the game earlier. The good thing is, the game won't tell you how to do your job. You have to find out everything by yourself. But then again, it is very easy. The map was useless. I hardly used the map. The whole game world does not have anything else besides popping up of the ghosts out of nowhere.The Boss fights are not challenging at all. You can kill them easily. It does not require any sorts of efforts.However, I am still going to recommend this game because it is made by an indie developer. This game is not perfect but definitely good for an indie game. The best thing about this game is that how well optimized it is. I did not experience any lag throughout the whole game. FPS never went below 55 and almost always stayed 60 without any problem. And I did enjoy playing it, I just wish if the story was longer. I don't know if the devs gonna add anything new because this game isn't in Early Access anymore. But I'm gonna support the dev and recommend this because it is a decent horror game and I am sure they will get even better with their future games. Besides, I got it on sale in a cheaper price so it is well worth the money.My ratings -Gameplay - 7/10Optimization - 9/10Story - 6/10. Not a bad game & for the price definetley worth it for about 4 hours.. I really do like this game! The atmosphere and gameplay are super creepy, especially as you advance in the game. I have noticed some minor bugs (like getting caught when climbing the vines and some lag) but overall GREAT GAME!
